School Assemblies
We have an educational program designed to help bring the art of storytelling though puppetry into your child’s school. In this forty-five minuet assembly, the children are also shown the many styles and types of puppets form different cultures around the world. With volunteers form the audience, the children can better understand the difference between how a hand puppet works and how a marionette is manipulated. I also demonstrate how the children can build a fun and simple hand puppet theater made from boxes. Who knows… they may be inspired to create a puppet show of their own.

I also offer a fun Puppetry Making Workshop for schools and camps. Students begin by creating their very own hand puppet caricature from a variety of materials that they can choose from. Behind a real puppet stage, a group of students present their puppets in a wild game show called, “Guess that Feeling,” where we discover the many synonyms for a variety of feelings that their puppets may encounter. The students participating in the audience must guess the synonyms and shout them out before the game show host reveals the answers.
All materials and puppet stage is provided for this inspiring workshop. The cost for a workshop is $200.00 plus a $3.00 per student materials fee. A mileage fee of $40.00 will be added if the location is greater then 50 miles from Mission Viejo.

Having a marionette show at your child’s birthday party can be a very magical moment in their lives. After the thirty minutes marionette show, we have a gift given to the birthday child. The gift is a cute little animal marionette given to your child by a puppet from the show. After the gift giving we all sing Happy Birthday together with the music. At this time lots of photographs can be taken with all the children and the marionette.
